Wiki - Japan - China Incident Medal
Established in 1939 and abolished in 1946, commemorating the Second Sino-Japanese War from 1937 to 1945. The campaign began from Manchukuo State to eastern and northern China, following the so-called Marco Polo Bridge Incident in 1937. After the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, the Second Sino-Japanese War remained within the Pacific theatre as an additional front in the Second World War.
The medal is made of bronze, with a diameter of 30,5 mm, on its ribbon there is a pin with the text "war medal", its case is made of pressed cardboard.
