Wiki - Germany - Mother's cross
Established in 1938, it was established to reward German mothers who had more than four children and were exemplary mothers until 1945.
Three categories were established:
-Bronze: 4 or 5 children
-Silver: 6 or 7 children
-Gold: more than 8 children
There is a version produced at the beginning of 1939 that on the back has the legend Das Kind adelt die Mutter, they are scarce crosses since very few were produced and with a high price in the market.
The cross was accompanied by a concession document.
The bronze and silver cross was delivered in a blue paper envelope, the gold cross in a navy blue case with the gold design of the cross itself on the lid.
