Wiki - Japan - Commemorative medal commemorating the annexation of Korea
Established in 1912, commemorating the annexation of Korea.
It was awarded to all those involved in the annexation of Korea and those who made it possible, members of the Japanese and Korean governments and those who demonstrated exemplary duty during the annexation.
The medal is bronze, with a diameter of 30.3 mm, on its reverse is inscribed "Meiji 43 [1910] August 29, Korean annexation commemorative medal." (:明治四十三年 八月二十九日 韓国併合記念章) . The box is made of unlacquered wood.
