-Order of the Red Star, No. 143,669, awarded on January 1943: "He worked as a commander of a mortar platoon, showed examples of manliness and ingenuity in combat against fascism.

During the breakthrough of the enemy vanguard defence, the lieutenant's unit annihilated 5 enemy firing points, broke through a barbed wire and also annihilated several enemy infantry mortars. In the Arbuzovka region several enemy counter-attacks were repulsed, numerous enemy units were annihilated and 50 enemy soldiers and officers were taken prisoner".
