-Medal for bravery, number: 2.331.826 because ‘Red Army soldier Vyday, Arsentiy Ivanovich has been in the 140th independent communication battalion since January 1942. Working as a driver bringing communication goods to build lines, comrade Vyday repeatedly showed heroism and bravery in his work. After crossing the Oder and in the battles for Berlin, comrade Vyday risked his life under enemy mortar and machine-gun fire and repeatedly supplied communication goods for the construction of lines under fire. During the crossing of the river Spree on the night of 1 May, the pass was occupied by tanks and artillery on the way to the Reichstag.
In order to get the goods to the observation post of the regimental commander in time, comrade Vyday, under heavy machine-gun and mortar fire, took all the goods to the place where the fighters of his platoon were standing guard by the apparatus, obviously at the risk of his life, but he ensured the construction of the line at the new observation post.
