-Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class, number 635.064, ‘In the fighting for the city of Zhytomyr on 31.12.43, the major lieutenant comrade Lazarev was ordered to supply the fighting in the engineering direction of the 1180th regiment both in the surroundings of the city and in the streets of the city. Having organised two groups of [illegible], Comrade Lazarev moved in front of the regiment's fighting formations and, despite heavy artillery and mortar fire from the enemy, advanced forward, clearing the way for the infantry from the enemy's line. The outskirts of the town were mined. Comrade Lazarev, acting with a group of [illegible] deactivated the bridge in the vicinity of [illegible], letting infantry and tanks through.
Acting in the streets of the city the group under Lazarev's command advanced bravely, clearing the streets of mines. Comrade Lazarev personally defused 12 anti-tank mines and defused an artillery depot.’
-Order of the Red Star , number: 127.837, ‘Lieutenant Lazarev, Vadim Aleksandrovich has been in the army on duty since April 1942, he showed good examples of work in erecting defence constructions and laying mines.
On January 26, 1943, during the advance to the Perenechayevo side, Lieutenant Lazarev's platoon annihilated up to 20 Hitlerites and captured 8 German prisoners. Personally Lieutenant Lazarev, V. A. killed 2 Germans and captured 2.
Thanks to personal example and skilful leadership the platoon advanced without casualties in 3 km’.
-Medal for bravery, number 553.713, awarded in 1945 ‘The commander of the 1st platoon of the 2nd company, lieutenant Lazarev, Vadim Aleksandrovich in combat conditions skillfully led the platoon and repeatedly showed bravery and courage.
In the last battles of the advance he performed two feats. On 12 December 1942, on the side of the village [illegible] he took part in the force exploration together with the 1180th battalion [illegible]. Lieutenant Lazarev's platoon was the first to reach the enemy's shore and continued to advance in defence of the enemy by conducting engineering exploration.
At night on 19/12/1942 Lieutenant Laarev together with the advance groups of the 2nd Battalion 1176 [illegible] which [illegible] his platoon, participated in the liberation of the fascists from Orobinsky, annihilating a number of enemy soldiers.’
-Order of the Red Banner, number: 99.387, ‘On 29 July at the crossing of the river by the 1178th rifle regiment, Lieutenant Major Lazarev with his platoon was working at the pass. -Order of Glory 3rd class, number: 128.127, because ‘In the offensive combat of the regiment on 22.07.1944 when taking the locality of Miakish of the Belsky district of the [illegible] region comrade Kostruba, acting as a gunner of the 82nd rifle battalion [illegible] showed bravery and courage in the difficult conditions of the combat. -Medal for bravery, number: 2.331.826 because ‘Red Army soldier Vyday, Arsentiy Ivanovich has been in the 140th independent communication battalion since January 1942. Working as a driver bringing communication goods to build lines, comrade Vyday repeatedly showed heroism and bravery in his work. After crossing the Oder and in the battles for Berlin, comrade Vyday risked his life under enemy mortar and machine-gun fire and repeatedly supplied communication goods for the construction of lines under fire. During the crossing of the river Spree on the night of 1 May, the pass was occupied by tanks and artillery on the way to the Reichstag.
In order to get the goods to the observation post of the regimental commander in time, comrade Vyday, under heavy machine-gun and mortar fire, took all the goods to the place where the fighters of his platoon were standing guard by the apparatus, obviously at the risk of his life, but he ensured the construction of the line at the new observation post.
-Medal for military merit, number: 1.092.357 because the soldier of the Red Army Vyday served in the company and division from the day of its creation.
